The recent comments from church leaders, it is urgently required to start a Political Academy like Civil Service Academy to produce good political leaders and rule/serve our country
EVEN THOUGH SOME COMMON SPHERES CAN BE IDENTIFIED IN THE ACTIVITIES OF CHURCH AND POLITICS,PURPOSE AND VISION OF BOTH ARE DIFFERENT.DEVIDING INDIA ALONG COMMUNAL LINES IS THE WORST THAT CAN HAPPEN ESPECIALLY FOR A WEAK MONRITY COMMUNITY LIKE CHRISTIANS.THE PRESENT ATTITUDE OF OUR CHURCH WILL GIVE SANCTITY FOR WHAT COMMUNAL PARTIES STAND FOR AND NOT DESIRABLE.WE NEED EVERY PARTY.
My whole hearted support for the Chuch leadership. Myslf and wife based in Ernakulam have decided to cast our vote in favour of LDF.
കേരളത്തില്‍ ഓര്‍ത്തഡോക്‍സ്‌, വിവിധ പ്രോറെസ്ടന്റ്റ് സഭകള്‍ എല്ലാം കൂടി 20 % ഉണ്ട്. കൂടാതെ ക്രിസ്ത്യന്‍ Sympthasiers valare ഉണ്ട്. ഇവരുടെ എല്ലാവരുടെയും പ്രതിനിധികളായി കത്തോലിക്കര്‍ ആയിക്കോളം കാഴ്ച്ചപ്പാട് ആ സഭാക്കുള്ളതുപോലെ തോന്നുന്നു. എന്നിട്ട് CHRIST വിരുദ്ധമായ കാര്യങ്ങള്‍ക്കും അഭയ കേസ്, sabhayude സ്വത്ത് സംരക്ഷണം, മറ്റു സഭകളെ തകറക്കല്‍ ഇവയാണ് ചെയ്യുന്നത്, അതിനാല്‍ കത്തോലിക്കരെ എല്ലാ ക്രിസ്ത്യന്‍ മണ്ഡലത്തിലും നിന്ന് ജയിപ്പിക്കാന്‍ നടത്തുന്ന ശ്രമം തടയാന്‍ എല്ലാവരും ഒരുമിക്കണമെന്ന് അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നു. ശ്രീമാന്‍ VELLAPPALLY പോലുള്ള nethaakkalude സഹകരണം നമ്മള്‍ അഭ്യര്തിക്കണം എന്ന് നെത്രിത്വത്തോട് അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.
Situation is so alarming that we CANNOT TRUST any single politcal leader in Congress. Our HH Bava Thirumeni was so much humiliated by Congres leaders (I was surpriosed to see a picture of Prime Minster sitting like had master and our bava Thirumeni and team sitting in a classroom.) is this the way to treat a religious leader of a community which always fought for India and supoprted the Congress at teh Centre and state. Enoughuis enough. Itis time we stop this practice of unanimously voting for Congress
As a Christian and Lord fearing person, I was stunned when I heard the decision of the Orthodox Church officials’ decision to support the L. D. F candidates. Think twice before you do this! Are you really stand for the oppressed and poor people? You know very well what the LDF government did for the past 5 years. In the history of Kerala this was the first time Kerala had a hypocritic Chief Minister such as Achutha Menon. As you know he is only care about his image and his family. Please find out one good thing he did for Kerala. By delaying the Smart City project by the LDF government how much job opportunities and economic growth were lost for Kerala? Do you really want the LDF government in power again for Kerala? Whether the Orthodox Church supports the UDF candidates or not they will get the majority in the next election without any question. You may loose your bargain power in the future and will be isolated by all of the political parties. Use your common sense rather than animosity and revenge. Hope the Almighty will give all of you the ability to make the Right Decisions…..
